@Future11Bravo hooah!!
Sometimes you have to cut through the bias with a little bias.
Like the guy in the video said, just talk to some veterans before going in.
Obviously the video is attempting to counterbalance the rosy picture the recruiters paint. Maybe plenty of soldiers have had a wonderful experience. Find them and talk to them too.
I don’t see what is unamerican about seeking truth, last I checked truth is highly regarded in western civilization.
The army has nothing to do with the right to speech. My rights come from God, not GI Joe.
i hope they are not lying, i will be joining next month. 19K army strong.
this video is a fucking joke
I couldn’t have said it better myself, my friend. That is the same reason I’ll be joining as well.
I mean, who are we nowadays? ARE we even Americans, or are we (“we” as in the general “American” public) just people seeking solace because they know the US is the best country for both righteous and devious people? Hell- my grandfather lied about his age to get into the Army to serve his country, knowing full well he’d go to war (WWII)! You don’t see that nowadays, which is sad.. so sad…
I don’t recommend joining the US Armed Forces then, pal. No hard feelings, but I definitely wouldn’t want someone who didn’t join for the love of their country covering my 6.
I know your comment is almost a month old, but..
It isn’t that the Air Force and other branches aren’t getting attention. All branches are vital to not only the protection of this country, but the defense and aid to others. I’m sure you’d see how grateful the troops are of the Air Force when an air strike saved their asses. It’s just media that doesn’t give credit, and the media in America sucks.
Bottom line: All branches in the US Armed forces are equally badass.
This video is very PRO American, exercising freedom of speech!!!
@FalloutRadius
Im in the air force =] The point of my comment was that this video was only talking about the disadvantages of being in the army and marines and stuff but nothing was said about the Air Force because the Air Force doesn’t have as much contact with Iraq and they couldn’t find anyone that regrets joining the Air Force.
wow u need to understand the hazard of ur job so dont join the military if ur doing it for schooling thats the wrong reason by the way this video sucks
That’s right you should only enlist to receive pay and make bank, not to serve your country and help protect it!
Okay you little piss ants who have yet to serve. You have absolutely no business criticizing those of us who have served that have a bone to pick with out military. It is a love-hate relationship that you can’t begin to understand. My father was drafted for Vietnam as a surgeon and spent 11 years in a hospital bed before he died from complications related to agent orange exposure. I still joined, as did my brother… All three of us were fucked over, yet still love our country.

@Future11Bravo agreed. you can’t join the military for the wrong reasons. If you join just because you want college money and you think that you can coast by maybe being stationed in california or something then your probably gonna die or come back with problems. If you join to serve your country and to put your entire being into the military, your much better off. Not saying your gonna come home perfectly happy, but your much better off.
@rails10 Army National Gaurd is part of the military if you know anything.
@graverookie you got it man…Rangers Lead The Way!!!!
@graverookie you got it man… Rangers Lead The Way!!!!
@graverookie good shit. i agree
@skittlesareyum48 well a infantryman is a combat soldier. trained to kill. period. the Rangers are the same thing but the are highly skilled, trained. The perpus of the Rangers is to be anywhere in the world combat ready i think in. i wanna say 9 hours. or 13. somthing like that. idk. There are less than 2,500 Rangers. They are truelly the few. The are like Special forces infantry. Im enlisting in a couple years. cant wait!!!
@skad4 i dotn think its 80% way less than that. it depend s on what you pick for AIT. and Alot of them see combat
this is why you READ before you sign. and dont join the military for school money alone…its a nice bonus that is all. I respect all those who lost their lives or are injured, but if you SIGN UP FOR THE MILITARY DURING WAR TIME YOU WILL BE DEPLOYED!
I just joined and i want to go oversea’s and if i die in a combat zone box me up and ship me home!!
all these people joined for the wrong reasons, you dont just join for money thats retarded
